About the Author

Born and raised in Wolverhampton, England — the city of dreams, if you asked Guppy — he was a devoted father to his 9-year-old son, Dillon, for whom he wrote his book, Lucky Crumble Down.

His fantasy novel grew out of their shared adventures, jokes, and wonderfully imaginative conversations. It was his gift to Dillon — a world where magic misbehaves, logic takes holidays, and humour is the only sensible way to survive — especially during self-inflicted chaos.

Guppy was the centre of his family, a loving husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend to so many. He lived by his motto of family first, and will always be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and limitless imagination.

Through these pages, his imagination continues to inspire, amuse, and occasionally confuse everyone who enters his world — exactly as he intended.
